Meet The Team

Matt established Yourshield in 2016 following numerous years providing bespoke commercial insurance solutions across multiple industry sectors. Prior to working in insurance Matt headed up a UK based logistics and freight forwarding business, which has given him a fantastic platform to fully understand the requirements of Yourshield clients, from both an insurance and business growth perspective. This multi-industry understanding partnering years of building fantastic relationships within the insurer market are two of the key reasons for Yourshield's success to date.

Matt manages the continued growth of the business but also still loves being involved in arranging insurance portfolios for both new and existing Yourshield clients. In his spare time Matt enjoys playing football, golf and spending time with his friends and family.

Amy joined Yourshield in November 2018 having previously worked in an underwriting role for a market leading financial lines insurer in Leeds. Prior to that Amy gained knowledge and experience at a large insurance broker. Having over 8 years' consistent experience servicing clients whilst also holding her Cert CII from a wide range of industry sectors, she is fantastically placed to deliver for Yourshield. In her spare time she enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her daughter and family.

Ryan started working in insurance at the age of 19, shortly after leaving sixth form.  With the majority of his experience in fleet and commercial insurance, Ryan ensures all of his clients’ insurance needs are handled to the highest level and adopts a tailored approach to each case.  Ryan specialises in the passenger transport and logistics sectors, but can adapt his skills across all classes of insurance. He has an avid interest in risk management and working with his clients to improve their claims performance.

In his spare time Ryan enjoys a good night out, fine dining and socialising with friends.
